NASHVILLE – Tennessee football offensive guard Wendell Moe and defensive tackle Jaxson Moi are out for today’s game against Illinois in the Music City Bowl. But it appears tight end Miles Kitselman will try to play.
Moe and Moi suffered injuries in UT’s loss to Vanderbilt on Nov. 29 to finish the regular season. They were both starters.
Kitselman, a fifth-year senior, went through warm-ups. He will try to play his final UT game despite suffering a serious leg injury against New Mexico State on Nov. 15 and missing the past two games. He has 25 catches for 250 yards and two TDs this season.
Safety Matthew Bailey is the most significant loss for Illinois on the injury report. He led the Illini with 76 tackles and two forced fumbles.
No. 23 Tennessee (8-4) plays Illinois (8-4) at 5:30 p.m. ET on ESPN at Nissan Stadium.
