Wisconsin football outside linebacker Ernest Willor Jr. has entered the NCAA transfer portal, according to 247Sports’ Jon McNamara.

Willor joined the Badgers as a four-star recruit in the class of 2024. He was specifically ranked as the No. 173 overall player in the class, the No. 26 defensive lineman and the No. 7 recruit from Maryland. He notably chose the Badgers over offers from numerous top programs, including Alabama, Maryland, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, Tennessee and Texas A&M.

Willor moved out to edge rusher upon joining the Badgers. He did not record any statistics during his two years with the program, slotting behind Darryl Peterson, Aaron Witt, Mason Reiger, Sebastian Cheeks and others on a crowded depth chart. He is in the portal with three years of eligibility remaining.

Willor Jr. is one of two Wisconsin linemen to enter the portal on Friday, joining 2023 signee Jamel Howard. The two join a list of players to depart that also includes safety Preston Zachman, tight end Tucker Ashcraft, running back Dilin Jones, wide receiver Eugene Hilton, wide receiver Trech Kekahuna, wide receiver Joseph Griffin Jr., cornerback Geimere Latimer, linebacker Christian Alliegro, linebacker Tackett Curtis, center Jake Renfro, running back Cade Yacamelli and punter Atticus Bertrams.
