Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2027 football signing class.

Four-star cornerback Allen Evans IV named Tennessee in his top 10 schools, along with Louisville, Kentucky, Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt, Alabama, Penn State, Oklahoma, Michigan and Missouri.

“Where’s home,” Evans IV announced. “Decision coming soon.”

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound prospect is from Trinity High School in Louisville, Kentucky. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 6 cornerback in the class and the No. 1 player in Kentucky.

Tennessee offered Evans IV a scholarship on Sept. 11, 2025. He unofficially visited Tennessee for the Vols’ football game versus New Mexico State on Nov. 15, 2025.

Louisville was the first school to offer Evans IV a scholarship on June 6, 2024. Other schools to offer him scholarships include Eastern Kentucky, Southern Miss, Western Kentucky, Toledo, SMU, Wisconsin, Arkansas, Virginia Tech, Michigan State and Cincinnati.

Tennessee has four commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, cornerback Kamauri Whitfield, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo and defensive lineman Kadin Fife.
