Report: OL Ja’Elyne Matthews to enter transfer portal

On Tuesday, Noles247 first reported that OL Ja’Elyne Matthews would enter the transfer portal, becoming the third Seminole to announce their intention to leave the program today.
Florida State received two offensive line commitments out of the portal on Tuesday, G/C Bradyn Joiner from Purdue and former Bowling Green OL Nate Pabst.
Matthews came to Tallahassee as a spring transfer in April of 2025 after spending one semester at Rutgers. The redshirt freshman will have all four years of eligibility left as he looks for his third team in 12 months.
