Who ya got? (AND WHY?)

WSR: Go Ducks. Please. Don’t make me cheer for Miami like I’m 10 again.

Thumpasaurus: Do I need a reason to claim Indiana is winning? It doesn’t particularly matter who they’re against. This is the best college football team I’ve ever seen. I don’t see anything special enough about Oregon to derail that.

I’m not rooting for Indiana, but it’s pointless to root against them.

BigRedTwice: Indiana. That’s my heart—I don’t know about my head. They sure did look good against (admittedly crappy) Alabama, though.

LPW: I’m rooting for Indiana because I’m so happy the team that has traded the crown of excrement for the losingest team in college football history with Northwestern is winning huge and they just seem like a team of destiny. Sorry Oregon, but you’ll have to try again next year. 

HoustonBoiler: Look, I’m happy Indiana blasted Alabama into the sun. I’m even happier that all the SEC teams have been eliminated. While I will be cheering for the meteor tonight, I believe Indiana will beat Oregon.

BoilerUp89: I told the OSU fan nephew (his dad is a misguided fool) sometime around Thanksgiving that IU would win the B1G championship but that Oregon would win the CFP. Indiana definitely has a good chance, but I’m sticking with my previous pick.

MNW: Just so you all understand where WSR (and I) come from on this—no more crabs can be allowed to escape the bucket. BACK TO THE BUCKET WITH YOU, INDIANA.

(That is not actually what I think happens here. Death Star Jr. appears to really be up and running, and while Bama wasn’t any great shakes this year, that was a scary beatin’ they put on them Tide. Indiana, 38-34.)
