Florida football lost another one of its tight ends from the 2025 roster as Tony Livingston announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on social media on Sunday, Jan 11.
A 6-foot-5, 264-pound junior from Tampa, Livingston made 23 catches for 232 yards and 4 TDs in three seasons with the Florida Gators. He was also a solid blocking tight end and appeared in 27 games in his UF’s career, making six starts.
Two more UF tight ends from Florida‘s roster in 2025 − Hayden Hansen and Amir Jackson − entered the portal on Jan. 2. Hansen signed with Oklahoma, while Jackson has yet to sign with another team. Florida is reportedly interested in re-signing Jackson out of the portal after the 6-5, 235-pound redshirt freshman had three catches for 29 yards and a TD last season.
Florida has landed two tight end commitments out of the portal so far − James Madison tight end Lacota Dippre and Georgia Tech tight end Luke Harpring − is it continued to revamp its roster under first-year coach Jon Sumrall. The transfer portal closes on Jan. 16.
