The ACC bowl lineup in 2025 is contingent on how many of the conference's teams make the College Football Playoff.

Miami and Duke (along with Notre Dame, who can factor into the ACC bowl picture if not in the CFP) are on the CFP bubble entering the Dec. 7 bracket reveal.

The No. 12-ranked Hurricanes own a head-to-head win over the No. 10 Fighting Irish. No. 9 Alabama and No. 11 BYU lost non-competitive games during the Dec. 6 conference championship weekend.

Duke, at 8-5, is not guaranteed to be one of the five highest-ranked conference champions despite beating No. 19 Virginia in the ACC title game. James Madison, with one loss, is the Sun Belt champion and was ranked at the bottom of the last CFP top-25 rankings on Dec. 2.

11 teams, plus Notre Dame, are bowl eligible. Cal is obligated to be placed in a Pac-12-affiliated bowl and have already accepted a bid to the Hawaii Bowl.
