The Crimson Tide just got a massive commitment for their 2028 class, literally and figuratively.

Head coach Kalen DeBoer and Alabama have landed six-foot-six, 315-pound offensive tackle Anthony Blalock Jr., who's a four-star prospect out of Ohio.

Blalock Jr. spoke about the connection he established with Crimson Tide offensive line coach Adrian Klemm during his visit.

"Coach (Adrian) Klemm really showed me the results that he has done with players that are not near my caliber and they made it to the next level, so I know he can for me," Blalock told Bama247 while sharing the decision news. "The hospitality at Alabama was great. It really felt like home."

He had over 20 Division I offers in late June, but selected Alabama over finalists Ohio State and Texas Tech.

Blalock Jr. plays his high school football in Youngstown, Ohio.
