Alabama football adds 2027 tight end commitment | What it means

Alabama football has another commitment in the 2027 recruiting class.

Oakley Keegan, a 2027 tight end out of Liverpool, New York, told Rivals he was committing to the Crimson Tide. He reported offers from programs such as UConn, Vanderbilt and Rutgers.

“Proverbs 16:3 − Roll Tide,” the post reads.

Keegan is the fourth commitment in Alabama‘s 2027 recruiting class and the second tight end in the class along with New Jersey four-star Colt Lumpris. Alabama also has in-state four-star quarterback Trent Seaborn and Georgia three-star cornerback Nash Johnson III committed in the class.

Alabama continues to build its tight end class.

After landing four-star tight end Mack Sutter in 2026, and Marshall Pritchett and Kaleb Edwards in 2025, the Crimson Tide continues to add high school talent at tight end.

Keegan is not ranked, and he doesn’t have many stats to speak of, with 12 career catches for 215 yards and two touchdowns per MaxPreps as a freshman and a sophomore.

According to Rivals, Keegan missed his junior season with an Achilles injury. But his 6-foot-7, 240-pound frame matches the size of what Alabama wants from a tight end, also reporting a 4.65-second 40-yard dash.
