Alabama football is not done adding to its 2026 recruiting class. And the Crimson Tide’s latest addition comes with a familiar name.

Amari Sabb, a three-star athlete out of Glassboro, New Jersey, has committed to the Crimson Tide on Feb. 3, picking Alabama over Oregon. Sabb is the younger brother of Alabama safety Keon Sabb.

Amari Sabb is the No. 1,180 prospect in the 2026 class, per 247Sports’ composite rankings, and the No. 82 athlete.

Sabb is the third player to commit to Alabama after the early signing period in December, joining Georgia three-star receiver Maurice Mathis Jr. and Alabama three-star receiver Aubrey Walker.

With Sabb, Alabama still has the second-ranked recruiting class nationally behind USC, per 247Sports’ composite team rankings.

What Amari Sabb Alabama football commitment means

Standing at 5-foot-9, 170 pounds, Sabb did a bit of everything for Glassboro High School.

Sabb was a slot receiver, bringing in 916 receiving yards on 53 catches, 823 rushing yards on 65 carries and 26 total touchdowns, per MaxPreps. Sabb ended the season as Glassboro’s bell-cow back, recording 599 rushing yards and eight touchdowns in his final four games of 2025.

Sabb was a nickel back, recording 28 tackles, six pass deflections and six interceptions, while finishing his career with 14 interceptions in 48 games.

Sabb brings versatility to Alabama’s roster, projected as a weapon on offense.

Sabb also continues the Sabb family connection. With Amari and Keon on the same roster in 2026, Alabama continues to fight for Xavier Sabb, the 2027 five-star receiver ranked No. 24 overall nationally.
