Former Oklahoma State tight end Josh Ford has signed with Alabama out of the transfer portal, according to a report.

Ford recently posted on social media that he was choosing between Alabama, Auburn, OU and Illinois. His Alabama signing was first reported by On3.

A product of Stillwater High School, the 6-foot-6, 265-pound Ford has three years of eligibility remaining after opting to redshirt this season. He entered the transfer portal after appearing in four games as the Cowboys’ primary starter at tight end.

He played in 16 career games, including all 12 as a true freshman in 2024. He finished his OSU career with 137 receiving yards and two touchdowns on 13 catches while also serving as a primary blocking option on the edge.
