Alabama football adds Texas RB to 2026 recruiting class, joins Ezavier Crowell

Alabama football is not done adding to its 2026 recruiting class.

Traeshawn Brown, a running back out of Huntsville, Texas, was added to the Crimson Tide’s 2026 recruiting class according to an announcement made by the University of Alabama‘s Name, Image and Likeness collective.

Brown, a 5-foot-10, 190-pound back, had 1,362 yards rushing and 17 touchdowns for Huntsville High School as a senior, per MaxPreps. Brown reports 2,960 yards rushing and 35 touchdowns across 27 high school games.

Brown had previous offers from North Texas, Boise State, Arkansas State, Navy and New Mexico State.

Brown joins a 2026 recruiting class that includes Alabama five star running back Ezavier Crowell.

Alabama lost a commitment from Florida three star Javari Barnett on Wednesday, Dec. 3, who flipped his commitment back to Illinois before signing with the Fighting Illini.
