AUBURN — Cam Calhoun has been ejected from the Iron Bowl for targeting.
The Alabama football defensive back was charged with targeting with 5:54 left in the second quarter against Auburn after a hit against Tigers quarterback Ashton Daniels while holding a 17-0 lead.
Alabama was given a 5-yard penalty for the call. Calhoun will miss the remainder of the Iron Bowl. He will be eligible to return in the Crimson Tide’s next contest, whether it’s the SEC championship or a bowl game.
Calhoun, a Utah transfer, has three tackles and one pass deflection for the Crimson Tide in 2025.
Alabama is Calhoun’s third school. He transferred to the Crimson Tide from Utah. Calhoun also played for Michigan.
