Alabama football offers 2027 TE Colton Johnson of Upperman

Upperman tight end Colton Johnson has received an offer from Alabama football, he announced on social media on March 3.

Johnson is a 6-foot-4, 225-pound junior who also plays linebacker for the Bees, and was named a TSWA All-State selection at that position last season. While he doesn’t have a star rating yet, he has 44 offers listed on his 247Sports page. Per his X account, he’s picked up over 30 since the start of 2026.

Johnson caught 37 passes for 615 yards and four touchdowns as Upperman went 9-3 in 2025, losing in the second round of the TSSAA football playoffs to eventual Class 4A state champion Alcoa. As a linebacker, he had 133 tackles and was named the Region 4-4A Defensive MVP.

Johnson also plays basketball for the Bees and helped them win the Class 3A state title in 2025.
