Round 1 of the Alabama high school football postseason is officially here.
Teams across the state are entering the playoffs with hope to keep their seasons alive. But only half can survive the first week of November.
With expected severe weather forecasted for Friday, Nov. 7, some games were moved to Thursday, Nov. 6.
Below are the live updates and scores from all the action in the Tuscaloosa area Thursday and Friday night of the first round of the AHSAA football playoffs.

Watch AHSAA high school football games on the NFHS Network
Most of the Tuscaloosa-area football programs are available to stream on the NFHS Network. It is a subscription service that costs $13.99 but gives access to all content on the site, across all sports.
It is up to schools to provide the stream, so it's not a guarantee all games in all sports will be available, but most area schools look to have at least some football games on the site.
