The Alabama Crimson Tide have officially added a fourth commitment to their 2027 recruiting class in Colt Lumpris.

Lumpris, a tight end, announced his commitment to the Crimson Tide on Tuesday, and according to Rivals' Hayes Fawcett, chose Alabama over programs such as Michigan, Ohio State, Ole Miss, and Tennessee, among others.

Per the 247Sports Composite rankings, Lumpris is currently considered as the nation's No. 275 overall prospect in the 2027 recruiting class, as well as the No. 17 tight end nationally. Rated a four-star recruit, Lumpris also ranks as the No. 6 prospect in the state of New Jersey where he attends The Lawrenceville School.

Lumpris is the first tight end commit of the 2027 recruiting cycle for Alabama, and joins quarterback Trent Seaborn as the Crimson Tide's offensive recruits in the class at the moment. Alabama's 2027 class currently sits at four total commitments.
