Alabama legend Mark Ingram doesn't think Crimson Tide should make CFP

Alabama legend Mark Ingram pushed against his alma mater on Saturday night by saying the Crimson Tide shouldn’t make this year’s College Football Playoff.

In a surprising rebuke from one of the school’s more notable NFL vets, Ingram argued on Fox Sports that Notre Dame and Miami should make the playoffs over Alabama.

Alabama’s dud of a SEC title game performanceagainst Georgia definitely doesn’t help its CFP argument, particularly when Miami and Notre Dame both have two losses. Although, Alabama played an extra game since it made its conference title game.

At least to Ingram, Alabama should still sit out this year’s College Football Playoff. That’s not encouraging.
