Alabama football has lost another member of its Bandit defensive line room.
Jordan Renaud, who has been with the Crimson Tide for each of the last three seasons, has elected to enter the NCAA transfer portal per multiple reports. Renaud has two seasons of eligibility remaining.
Renaud is the third Bandit defensive end to depart from the Crimson Tide ahead of the 2026 season. LT Overton will enter the NFL draft after exhausting his collegiate eligibility and Keon Keeley also entered the transfer portal.
In 29 games across three seasons, Renaud has 35 tackles, 3.5 tackles-for-loss and 0.5 sacks.
Fatutoa Henry, the junior college transfer who played 22 snaps across four games in 2025, is the only member of the Bandit defensive end room remaining from a season ago.
Alabama added Washington transfer Caleb Smith via the transfer portal Tuesday, Jan. 13. Smith, who redshirted his first season with the Huskies, has four seasons of eligibility.
The Crimson Tide also added interior depth with USC transfer Devan Thompkins and Mississippi State transfer Kedrick Bingley-Jones.
Alabama also has a five-man 2026 defensive line class with four-star Jamarion Matthews, four-star Kamhariyan Johnson, three-star Corey Howard, four-star Nolan Wilson and three-star Malique Franklin.
