Alabama football running back Jam Miller is back.

Miller, who missed Alabama’s SEC Championship Game loss to Georgia with a leg injury, played 18 snaps in the Crimson Tide’s College Football Playoff first-round win against Oklahoma, per Pro Football Focus. And as Alabama prepares for Indiana and the CFP quarterfinal at the Rose Bowl, Miller is ready to go.

“I’m good now. I’m 100% healthy,” Miller said Saturday, Dec. 27. “Just being able to be in the game with the team, it’s always a great feeling, just being with the brothers.”

Miller had seven carries for 11 yards against the Sooners on Friday, Dec. 19. He also played four pass-blocking snaps.

Miller credited Alabama‘s “great training staff” to help him get “my body right.” And he’s ready to be a full-go against a Hoosiers run defense that allows 77.62 yards per game and 2.89 yards per carry.

“It’s all about preparation,” Miller said of the Alabama run game that has been mostly ineffective. “It all starts in practice. It’s building the relationship with the O-line and just working with each other, get that running game going.”

No. 9 Alabama kicks off against No. 1 Indiana in the Rose Bowl at 3:10 p.m. CT on Thursday, Jan. 1.
