According to Rivals' Joe Tipton, the Alabama Crimson Tide have reportedly been listed among the eight finalists for one of the nation's top prospects, Malachi Jordan.

The Crimson Tide are joined by two additional SEC teams, Tennessee and Vanderbilt, in Jordan's eight finalists, per Tipton. Others such as Kansas, Ohio State, UConn, USC, and Washington round out the group.

Jordan is considered one of the nation's top prospects in the 2027 recruiting cycle, currently ranked as the No. 13 overall player in the class by the 247Sports Composite rankings. A five-star recruit, Jordan also ranks as the No. 3 small forward in the class, as well as the No. 7 player in the state of Florida where he attends national powerhouse Prolific Prep.

Alabama has yet to add a commitment to its' 2027 class. The Crimson Tide have been linked to a number of top prospects though, one of which is set to visit Tuscaloosa this fall.
