Alabama stock report: Who impressed during CFP win vs. Oklahoma?

When the Alabama Crimson Tide needed it most, there were a few players in particular who stepped up in a massive moment.

Faced with a must-win game in a hostile environment, Alabama started this game in a similar fashion to the SEC title game, and were certainly in trouble very early after falling behind, 17-0, in the second quarter.

However, the Crimson Tide eventually began to see some success offensively, and paired with some huge defensive and special teams plays, were able to erase that deficit, and then pull away with a 17-7 edge in the second half for a 34-24 win.

Following is a look at this week's stock report, which takes a look at three Alabama players on the rise as a result of their performances against Oklahoma, each of which were key in the Crimson Tide's win.

Lotzeir Brooks, Wide Receiver

When the Alabama offense needed a wide receiver to step up most, true freshman Lotzeir Brooks answered against the talented Oklahoma defense. Finding the end zone for the first time in his Crimson Tide career, Brooks ended up leading Alabama in receiving by hauling in five receptions for 79 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 15.8 yards a catch.

Conor Talty, Kicker

Conor Talty has seen some struggles as Alabama's kicker at times this season, but Friday night in Norman certainly was not one of those nights. Perfect on all kicks, which included going 4-for-4 on extra points, Talty made a pair of massive field goals from 35 and 40 yards out, the latter of which extended Alabama's lead to double-digits during the third quarter.

Deontae Lawson, Inside Linebacker

For the final spot, there were many other players such as Ty Simpson and Justin Jefferson who were options here, but it's hard to not mention veteran inside linebacker Deontae Lawson, who did a bit of everything for Alabama on defense Friday night. Lawson had one of his best performances of the season, finishing with a team-high 10 total tackles, six of which were solo, along with one sack, one TFL, and one pass defense.
