Amid Moore fallout, Hiter addresses misinformation about his status

There are bound to be a lot of rumors and bloodthirsty entities across college football with the turmoil currently surrounding the Michigan football program.

Head coach Sherrone Moore was not only fired, for cause, on Wednesday, but he has since been jailed in connection with an investigation of an alleged assault that took place following his ousting from the Wolverines' head job. Thus, there are many voices clouding the internet about what happened and what may or may not be happening in the aftermath.

One key point surrounds the recruiting class that was signed a week before Moore's ouster. Given that the 27-man class put ink to paper with the idea they would be coached by Moore, and that's no longer the case, it stands to reason that many across other programs want the top of the Wolverines' class. So much so that some unconnected entities are spreading rumors that perhaps the signees are looking elsewhere.

Michigan's prized commit, five-star running back Savion Hiter, fired back when a false report went out from an unverified account saying that he had asked out of his commitment to the Wolverines.

Of course, there will be impostors who are looking for social media clout throughout this process. And while Hiter will have a decision to make once Michigan does bring in a new head coach, and potentially new staff, that decision has clearly not been made at this juncture.
