In 2024, Arizona State made it to the 12-team College Football Playoff.

This season, the Sun Devils (8-3, 6-2) have their work cut out for them if they are to repeat, but they're in the mix. The latest CFP rankings came out on Nov. 25, and the Sun Devils checked in at No. 20, with their Territorial Cup rivals Arizona at No. 25.

The Big 12 is well represented with Texas Tech (5), BYU (11), Utah (13), and Arizona (25), joining ASU.

Ohio State remained No. 1 with Indiana at No. 2. Texas A&M and Georgia are third and fourth, respectively. Texas Tech is followed by No. 6 Oregon, which jumped now-No. 7 Mississippi.

Oklahoma, Notre Dame and Alabama round out the top 10.

ASU rolled past Colorado (3-8, 1-7), 42-17, last week and finishes the regular season with the Territorial Cup game Friday, Nov. 28, against rival Arizona at Mountain America Stadium.
