Arizona State @ Texas A&M Preview and Prediction

This is our first real opportunity to see just how good Texas A&M actually is.

The Aggies destroyed Missouri State 50-0 in Week 1, allowing only 67 total yards. Marcel Reed was also sharp, throwing for 233 yards and two touchdowns.

But Arizona State is a massive step up.

The Sun Devils destroyed Morgan State 70-7, with new quarterback Cutter Boley throwing for 387 yards and six touchdowns in his Arizona State debut.

So this offense can absolutely score.

The problem is Boley is going from Morgan State to one of the most difficult environments in college football.

Kyle Field should be rocking.

Arizona State coach Kenny Dillingham called Texas A&M one of the best teams in the country and said playing in front of more than 100,000 fans in College Station is about as challenging as it gets.

That’s where I think the game changes.

Texas A&M’s defensive front should pressure Boley in ways he didn’t experience in Week 1, while Reed’s experience gives the Aggies an enormous advantage at quarterback.
