Army football has its first activity in the NCAA transfer portal.

Sophomore running back Trey Tremba, from Slatington, Pa., is reportedly in the portal, per the website 247sports. The portal doesn’t officially open until midnight ET on Jan. 2 and closes on Jan. 16.

According to Army officials, Tremba appeared in just one varsity game, an Oct. 19, 2024, contest against East Carolina.

Tremba was a direct admit from Parkland High School in Allentown, Pa. He rushed for 3,361 yards, caught passes for 1,232 yards and totaled 65 touchdowns. He was named a first-team all-state and all-conference.

Army (7-6) concluded the season with a 41-16 win over Connecticut in the Fenway Bowl.

The 2025 portal saw a handful of players departing West Point: running back Kanye Udoh (Arizona State), safety Donavon Platt (Virginia) and linebacker Elo Modozie (Georgia).

Arizona State Sun Devils quarterback Jeff Sims (2) hands off to running back Kanye Udoh (6) for a touchdown carry in the fourth quarter against the Colorado Buffaloes at Folsom Field in Boulder, on Nov. 22, 2025.
