After two months and a half months of chaotic regular season action, the Big Country’s best high school football teams have battled in back-and-forth shootouts and secured statement wins to punch their tickets to the bi-district round of the UIL Playoffs.
Now it’s time to turn the page to the postseason, as the top teams throughout the Lone Star State will gear up for the opening round of the 2025 Texas high school football playoffs on Thursday-Saturday, Nov. 13-15.
The Abilene Reporter-News will offer weekly picks and projections for every 11-man and six-man high school football game featuring Big Country teams throughout the 2025 Texas high school football season.
