Auburn football continued its offensive line on Thursday by adding an SEC tackle from the transfer portal.
Jeffrey Lee of On3/Rivals reported Thursday that Auburn has added former Ole Miss tackle TJ Hedrick from the transfer portal. Hedrick did not play a snap for the Rebels this season and will have four seasons of eligibility remaining. As a high school recruit, the Naples, Florida native chose Ole Miss over Kentucky, South Carolina, Georgia Tech, Texas A&M, and others during the 2025 cycle. The three-star tackle was the No. 58 tackle from the class and ranked No. 14 in Ole Miss’ signing class.
Auburn is working to build depth on its offensive line following the departures of notable names, including Connor Lew, Xavier Chaplin, and Jeremiah Wright. Several reserves, including Tyler Johnson, Dylan Senda, and DeAndre Carter, also departed the team through the transfer portal. The efforts of the new Auburn head coach, Alex Golesh, have been rewarding so far, as Stanton Ramil, Joseph Simmons, Cole Best, Cole Skinner, and Jacob Stroud are all set to transfer to Auburn to join returning members Kail Ellis, Ja’cobe Ward, and Tai Buster.
