For the second straight season, Auburn football will fully rebuild its quarterback room ahead of the next season. However, their efforts are going beyond 2026.

In a recent interview with Marcus Benjamin of Rivals, 2027 four-star quarterback Andre Adams listed the programs at the forefront of his recruitment, including Auburn. Adams cites the relationship he built with the new head coach, Alex Golesh, as well as the offensive coaching staff, during their time at USF, as the driving force behind his heavy interest.

“I got a great relationship with Auburn," Adams said. "The coaches from USF, Coach Golesh, and the staff he brought with him. I had a great relationship with them when they were at USF. Since they switched over, it’s still the same thing.”

Outside of Auburn, Adams is receiving interest from Mississippi State, Cincinnati, and Virginia Tech. He tells Benjamin that he plans to take an official visit to each school, with his visit to Auburn possibly taking place during the spring.

Adams is a four-star quarterback from the 2027 recruiting class. He ranks No. 16 among 2027 quarterbacks, and the Antioch High School product is the No. 8 recruit from the state of Tennessee.
