Auburn football adds Michigan State OL transfer Stanton Ramil

AUBURN — Offensive line help has been sorely needed on the Plains, and Auburn football has made a considerable addition with Michigan State offensive tackle Stanton Ramil, a source confirmed to the Montgomery Advertiser.

Ramil signed with Auburn on Wednesday, Jan. 7, becoming the first offensive line addition in a transfer class that’s up to 12 additions. Ramil’s the third-highest-rated transfer in Auburn’s class.

An Alabaster, Alabama, native, Ramil played for Thompson High School and was a consensus four-star prospect. He played in 16 games for the Spartans the past two seasons, making eight starts at left tackle, giving up just five sacks in 403 opportunities.
