Auburn football adds South Florida WR Chas Nimrod from transfer portal

AUBURN — Wide receiver Chas Nimrod became the fifth South Florida pass-catcher to follow Alex Golesh from South Florida to Auburn football, a source confirmed to the Montgomery Advertiser, as Nimrod signed with the Tigers on Tuesday, Jan. 6

Of Auburn‘s 11 incoming transfers, Nimrod’s one of 10 South Florida transplants. He spent one season with the Bulls, playing in seven games and catching 23 passes for 446 yards and three touchdowns. He moved to Tampa from Tennessee, where he first played for Golesh. In three seasons with the Volunteers, Nimrod caught 29 passes for 315 yards and one touchdown.
