Auburn football lands commitment from Miami OL transfer Deryc Plazz

AUBURN — The numbers in Auburn football‘s trenches are continuing to grow, as Miami offensive line transfer Deryc Plazz has committed to the Tigers, he announced Wednesday, Jan. 21.

Plazz is the 35th addition to Auburn‘s transfer class, as well as the ninth player at his position, continuing what’s been an overhaul of the program’s offensive line room.

A rising redshirt sophomore, Plazz was a consensus three-star recruit out of high school, signing with the Hurricanes after backing off a pledge to Penn State. He played a total of 18 snaps for Miami on its run to this year’s national championship and he didn’t surrender a pressure in five opportunities, according to Pro Football Focus.
