The Auburn Tigers have locked in a summer visit with one of the nation’s top defensive backs from the 2027 recruiting cycle.
Censere Gaylord, a four-star cornerback from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, has locked in several official visits for the summer, according to 247Sports, which include a stop in Auburn June 19-21. Gaylord will also visit Georgia Tech, Washington, and Georgia between May 29 and June 21.
Auburn locks in an official visit with Gaylord after extending an offer to him on Jan. 29, 2025, before Alex Golesh took over the program as head coach. Auburn is the most recent team on Gaylord’s official visit docket to offer him, with Georgia Tech, Washington, and Georgia all beating the Tigers to the punch. However, Gaylord’s recruitment remains open, and Auburn could make a splash after receiving the final visit of the tour.
Gaylord is the No. 13 cornerback from the 2027 recruiting cycle according to 247Sports, and is the No. 12 player from Florida. Auburn currently boasts the nation’s No. 38 recruiting class according to 247Sports’ 2027 recruiting rankings after landing three-star quarterback Gary Chatman Jr over the weekend.
