Are the Auburn Tigers playing on Saturday?
After their 24-14 loss to No. 14 Tennessee in Week 5, the Auburn Tigers are on a bye week and are set to return to the field on Saturday, Oct. 17, to face No. 2 Georgia in Sanford Stadium. The game will begin at 2:30 p.m. CT and will air on either ESPN, ABC, or SEC Network.
Auburn gets a much-needed break on Saturday as a challenging schedule awaits them. The Tigers already faced a tough squad in Tennessee to open the October portion of their schedule, and will face No. 2 Georgia, No. 10 LSU, and No. 11 Ole Miss before the calendar flips to November. Two of those games will be played away from Jordan-Hare Stadium: Oct. 17 at Georgia and Halloween at Ole Miss.
