AUBURN — Eric Singleton Jr. won’t be returning to Auburn football in 2026 as the standout wide receiver announced Thursday, Jan. 1, he was declaring for the upcoming NFL Draft.

Singleton transferred to Auburn from Georgia Tech last offseason after the former three-star prospect developed into a standout playmaker with the Yellowjackets. He was the consensus top wide receiver in the portal and a consensus top-10 transfer nationally.

Auburn saw a less productive version of Singleton, as its entire offense subsequently struggled, but the do-it-all skill player still registered 595 total yards of offense and three touchdowns.
