A pair of Auburn Tigers defenders have not played their final game of the season. On Wednesday, it was announced that both Keldric Faulk and Keyron Crawford would be invited to the Senior Bowl.

Both Crawford and Faulk had solid seasons for the Tigers in 2025. Faulk had a lot of fans' attention coming into the season and was projected as a first-round draft pick by many experts. This season, he had 29 total tackles and two sacks. Those numbers were down from a year ago, when Faulk had seven sacks and 45 total tackles. That can be due to many factors, including opponents' game planning, so Faulk would not have an impact on games.

The attention paid to Faulk created opportunities for other players to have an impact. While playing in ten games this season, Crawford finished second on the team with 8.5 tackles for loss and five sacks. He had a big start to the first three games of the season with five tackles for loss and three sacks. Crawford's best game of the season was in the opener at Baylor, where he had seven tackles, one tackle for loss, and a sack. He finished fifth on the team with 36 tackles and had an interception versus South Alabama in the third game of the season.

Both players were key to a defense that was the strength of the Auburn Tigers. The unit ranked seventh in the SEC, giving up 20.7 points per game. It is worth noting that Auburn gave up more points versus Vanderbilt (45) and Alabama (27) in the final two SEC games. However, that is when D.J. Durkin took over as interim head coach, while still serving as coordinator for the defense.

The Senior Bowl will be played on Jan. 31 in Mobile, Alabama, with a start time of 1:30 p.m. CT and will be broadcast on the NFL Network. The important part of the week, though, will be the practices with NFL coaches and scouts.
