The spirits are little higher in Happy Valley as Penn State football earned its first Big Ten win of the season on the road against Michigan State.
Now the Nittany Lions return home to face Nebraska in what are the cheapest home game tickets of the season, and possibly in years.
All of the major ticket sites have the get-in price for Penn Stat’e game for Nebraska starting at $8 cheaper than any other game this season.
With the only hope for postseason football being a bowl game, combined with the fact that other winter sports (basketball, wrestling) have begun thier seasons, fans are less inclined to sit through the mid-to-low 40s weather at kickoff.
Then again, the program is riding the momentum of Terry Smith’s first win as a head coach. So some of the Penn State faithful may take advantage of the deal and grab some seats in Beaver Stadium.
