The Carter family attended Hill’s East Hampton performance, which also featured a surprise reunion with Wyclef Jean.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z spent Saturday night dancing through Lauryn Hill’s performance in East Hampton, New York, with Blue Ivy Carter and Kelly Rowland also attending. Hill’s concert, dubbed “Ms. Lauryn Hill Acoustic” included a surprise appearance from Wyclef Jean.
Video obtained by TMZ showed Beyoncé and Jay-Z enjoying Hill’s set at The Club House. The couple danced through the performance, sipped drinks and appeared fully engaged as Hill moved through her catalog.
TMZ reported that Blue Ivy joined her parents for the outing, while Rowland and Jean also attended. The gathering connected several artists whose careers helped shape R&B and hip-hop across different eras, with Beyoncé and Rowland representing Destiny’s Child and Hill and Jean sharing a long history through the Fugees.
Jean eventually moved from the audience to the stage, joining Hill for five songs. Their set included “Killing Me Softly,” one of the Fugees’ most recognizable recordings.
The performance added another chapter to Hill and Jean’s recent run of reunions. They previously appeared together during YG Marley’s 2024 Coachella set, where they revisited songs tied to Hill’s solo career and the Fugees.
The relaxed outing also offered fans a glimpse of the Carter family enjoying music together away from a tour stage or awards show. Blue Ivy has become a familiar presence beside her parents at major events, while Rowland remains one of Beyoncé’s closest longtime friends and collaborators.
