College football has a new top-ranked team, and the Big Ten's top two heavyweights are now locked in for a massive showdown coming up next weekend.

Following the loss by previous No. 1 Texas to rival Oklahoma in the Red River Rivalry, Georgia has taken over the top spot in this week's US LBM Coaches Poll. Georgia is coming off a big road win at Alabama and takes the inside track to the SEC Championship Game as the last unbeaten team standing in the conference.

The Big Ten will have a top-5 showdown on the schedule this week with No. 4 Indiana hosting No. 5 in a rematch of last season's Big Ten championship game. Other Big Ten teams joining Indiana and Ohio State in this week's coaches poll are UCLA (No. 12), USC (No. 15), Iowa (No. 16), and Oregon (No. 25). The Ducks remain ranked after dropping its second game of the season, with both losses coming against teams currently ranked in the top 25.

While the Nittany Lions will be unranked, so will their next opponent, the Michigan Wolverines. Penn State will travel to Michigan for a game that sees both teams working through some issues under new head coaches. Penn State will face Michigan in the 3:30 p.m. time slot on CBS.

As things stand now with the current coaches poll, there are no ranked teams awaiting Penn State on the schedule in the second half of the season.
