Blessed & Honored: Penn State Set For Major Visit Weekend

George Parkinson To Visit Penn State

In-state 2028 four-star edge rusher George Parkinson is scheduled for a visit to Beaver Stadium for Saturday night’s conference opener against Wisconsin:

Parkinson is the No. 2 player from Pennsylvania and the No. 13 edge rusher in the 2028 class. His recruitment has been very quiet so far, but the Nittany Lions are currently high on the radar. Hopefully Matt Campbell can knock this visit out of the park and sway him to Penn State this weekend.

James Armstrong Schedules Visit

2028 Virginia quarterback and current Penn State commit James Armstrong will also be in attendance for Saturday’s game:

Armstrong committed to Penn State back in July and visited for the season opener against Marshall. He is the No. 12 quarterback in the 2028 class, and although the Nittany Lions already have his commitment for now, keeping it will be just as important moving forward.

Quinn Weber Schedules Visit

Three-star 2028 New Jersey tight end Quinn Weber has scheduled a visit for this weekend:

Weber has not committed anywhere yet, but Penn State and West Virginia appear to be the top two suitors for now. Matt Campbell can point to the Nittany Lions’ long-running history of putting tight ends in the NFL to help seal the deal here, but it is still early in the 2028 recruiting window. This will be Weber’s third visit to Penn State.

Top 2029 Linebacker Schedules Visit

2029 four-star Indiana linebacker Austin Phillips will be at Beaver Stadium on Saturday:

The 2029 cycle is just barely getting started, but Phillips is currently the No. 1 linebacker in the class. Unsurprisingly, Notre Dame, Purdue, and Indiana all appear to be squarely in the running for him. Ohio State, Michigan, USC, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Louisville have all extended offers as well. This will be his first visit to Penn State.

Penn State Offers 2028 In-State Running Back

Penn State has extended an offer to 2028 running back Tevin Owen-Cratsenberg:

Owen-Cratsenberg currently leads the WPIAL in rushing yards through four weeks of the regular season, with 738 yards on 76 carries. He has flown under the radar with recruiting services, but Penn State has seen enough to give him an offer. As of today, Penn State is his only power conference offer, but that is likely to change if he continues piling up his rushing total.
