Bowl Eligible Teams: Who’s Headed to a Bowl Game or the College Football Playoff?

While the College Football Playoff teams still have to be fully locked in, we know who’s eligible for a bowl game.

Did you get to six wins? If so, you’re off to a fun vacation full of swag bags filled with gifts and prizes, to go along with another game of football.

It might not seem like a big deal to go to a bowl if you’re Ohio State, or Alabama, or some superpower type of team, but ask Florida State, Wisconsin, South Carolina, and a whole slew of other big-name teams how much fun it would’ve been to keep it all going.

And for teams like Clemson and Penn State, who had massively disappointing years, battling for a bowl appearance is a badge of honor. It’s a reward after all they fought through.

These are the bowl eligible teams for the 2025 season – all 82 slots will be filled – broken down by conference, and how many wins each one game up with.

Teams with an * are likely going to the College Football Playoff.
