Bre Tiesi gets candid about coparenting in Nick Cannon’s large family: ‘There is no we’

The “Selling Sunset” star says she keeps her distance from the other mothers while prioritizing her son Legendary’s relationships with his siblings.
Bre Tiesi is offering a candid look at how she navigates life inside Nick Cannon’s unusually large family, making clear that her approach to coparenting is less about building relationships with everyone and more about protecting the children’s connection to one another.
In an exclusive interview with E!’s Hot Goss, Tiesi discussed her relationship with Cannon and the five other mothers of his children. E! News reported that the “Selling Sunset” star, who shares 4-year-old son Legendary Love with Cannon, said she has tried to build closer relationships with the other mothers but found the dynamic difficult.
“There is no we,” Tiesi said, explaining that she and the other mothers do not operate as a collective parenting unit. She added that she generally tries to “be nice” while keeping her distance.
Cannon has 12 children with six women, including twins Moroccan and Monroe with Mariah Carey, three children with Brittany Bell, three with Abby De La Rosa, and children with LaNisha Cole, Alyssa Scott and Tiesi. His son Zen, whom he shared with Scott, died in 2021 at five months old after being diagnosed with brain cancer.
Tiesi said she would like to have a closer relationship with Cannon’s other children, but believes tensions between the adults have made that difficult. Rather than allowing those issues to interfere with the children’s relationships, she said she is willing to step back.
Her priority, she explained, is Legendary’s bond with his siblings.
“I’m just going to remove myself so that the children can have the best relationship,” Tiesi said, while placing responsibility on Cannon to create an environment where his children can maintain those connections.
Despite the challenges, Tiesi also pushed back against any suggestion that Cannon is absent from his children’s lives. She said he spends significant time with them and described the kids as his “entire life.”
As for expanding their own family, Tiesi was unequivocal. She said Legendary will not be getting another sibling from her, joking that he can instead spend time with his many brothers and sisters.
Tiesi is also balancing family life with a demanding television schedule. She is part of the upcoming fifth season of Fox’s “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test,” which premieres Sept. 24.
