Brentwood Academy DB Romel Koon commits to Tulsa football, coach Tre Lamb

Brentwood Academy defensive back Romel Koon has announced where he'll continue his career at the next level.
Koon revealed his commitment to Tulsa football and coach Tre Lamb in a social media post on July 5.
Koon is the No. 46-ranked Class of 2027 recruit in the state of Tennessee and the No. 112 cornerback nationally in the 247Sports Composite. Along with Tulsa, the three-star DB's offer sheet included Virginia Tech, Florida State, Georgia Tech and Memphis.
Last season Koon was a fixture in an Eagles' secondary which helped hold seven opponents to a touchdown or less in 2025.
He recorded 42 total tackles, three for a loss, six pass break ups and a forced fumble as Brentwood Academy went 11-1, finishing state runner-up to Baylor. His 36 solo tackles led all Brentwood Academy defensive players.
