Brentwood Academy OT Rance Brown commits to Auburn football over Tennessee

One of Middle Tennessee's top-ranked offensive line recruits has announced where he'll continue his career at the next level.
Brentwood Academy offensive tackle Rance Brown revealed his commitment to Auburn and newly hired head coach Alex Golesh on May 25 through a social media post on his X account.
The 6-foot-6, 290-pound Brown is a three-star recruit, ranked No. 41 among the class of 2027, and No. 87 among offensive lineman nationally according to 247Sports Composite.
Brown had previously announced his final five schools in April, which included Tennessee, Viriginia Tech, North Carolina and Kentucky. He was originally offered by Auburn on March 2.
Brown is entering his first season with the Eagles, having transferred from Southside High in Gadsden, Alabama ahead of the winter semester. Southside was 3-7 last season, while Brentwood Academy went 11-1, with its lone defeat coming in the state championship to Baylor.
