NCAAF College Football News, Photos, Stats, Scores, Schedule & Videos...
The transfer portal officially opened January 26, and over 1000 players around college football are in the portal within the first few hours. Below we will track the outgoing and incoming players into the portal for BYU throughout the portal season over the coming weeks.
The portal will close Friday, January 16 but players can still commit to a school after that. New this year is that there is no spring portal window, so players have to enter within that two-week timeframe.
Outgoing Players
- LaMason Waller, Wide Receiver
- Dominique McKenzie, Wide Receiver
- Marcus McKenzie, Cornerback
- Tucker Kelleher, Tight End
- McCae Hillstead, Quarterback
- Ikinasio, Offensive Line
- Jake Griffin, Offensive Line
Incoming Players
No one yet, but we could start seeing some commitments soon. The most glaring one is USC tight end Walker Lyons. Lyons is the older brother of BYU QB commit Ryder Lyons. BYU needs a starting tight end and Walker is currently the second highest rated TE in the portal and has a 4-star rating.
