BYU will be an underdog for the first time this year when Notre Dame comes to Provo Saturday. Week 7 lines for many games are out and BYU is an early 12.5-point underdog to the Fighting Irish. The point total is 47.5.

Notre Dame is 6-0 on the season after a convincing 58-7 win over Stanford on Saturday. Notre Dame outgained Stanford 598-202 and rolled up 361 yards on the ground. Notre Dame has won all 6 of their games by double digits. Michigan State and North Carolina were semi-competitive with the Irish, but overall Notre Dame has looked good on both sides of the ball.

After #1 Texas’ loss Saturday, Notre Dame should be ranked #2 in the AP Poll for the game. This is the first ranked opponent both BYU and Notre Dame have played this season.

College Gameday will be in Provo for the game, the first time the show has come to Provo since the BYU-TCU game in 2009. The game will kickoff Saturday at 5:30 MT on ABC.
