When schools like Ohio State, UCLA, Oregon and Utah are all in hot pursuit of a prospect, they'll usually end up with the player more often than not.
However, Blake Wong's recruiting journey was a notable exception. The four-star wide receiver committed to BYU, and had a unique road to pledging his allegiance to the Cougars.
Wong attended a devotional hosted by BYU in Southern California in May, as the pass catcher is reportedly a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The Cougars also made the 6-foot-2, 180-pound receiver a top priority during this cycle.
