Cam Coleman injury updates: Latest on Texas WR after exiting with limp

If Texas and Arch Manning are able to pull out a signature win in their first trip to Rocky Top, the top-ranked Longhorns might have to pull it off without one of their top wide receivers, Cam Coleman.

ESPN's Holly Rowe reported at the 4:36 mark of the third quarter, as Texas' defense trotted back onto the field at Neyland Stadium, that Coleman was still being tended to on the Longhorns' sidelines after sustaining an injury on their previous drive.

Coleman spent time in the medical tent on the field after getting banged up during Texas' first drive of the second half.

Coleman has had a quiet day against the Volunteers, as he had just one catch for 30 yards before sustaining his injury. Manning tried to go downfield to Coleman in the first half on a deep ball, but Tennessee defensive back Kayin Lee intercepted the pass instead.

The Longhorns are currently leading the Volunteers 13-10 in the third quarter at the time of this publication.

Coleman sustained an apparent injury in the third quarter of Texas' road game at Tennessee on Saturday. He got banged up following his 30-yard reception at the 11:09 mark of the third quarter, his first catch of the afternoon.

He spent some time in the medical tent before exiting and jogging on the Longhorns' sidelines.
