Beck, a native of Jacksonville, Fla., spent five years at the University of Georgia (2020-24) and one at the University of Miami (2025) as a quarterback. He has two College Football Playoff National Championship rings (2021, 2022) from his time with the Bulldogs, and nearly delivered the Hurricanes to its first national championship since 2001.
In his two seasons starting at Georgia (2023-24), Beck totaled 7,426 passing yards and 52 touchdowns in 27 games. He was 24-3 as a starter for the team.
Beck recorded a career-high 30 touchdown passes last season at Miami.

He had 3,813 passing yards, leading the ‘Canes to a 13-3 campaign. Beck has played a lot of football in his collegiate career, so betting odds are starting to trend to him as a top prospect. According to Dov Kleiman of Polymarket Sports, the Cardinals have a 41 percent chance of taking Beck at No. 3 overall in the upcoming NFL Draft. The 6-foot-4, 225-pounder played some of his best football in the playoff, including a touchdown-to-interception ratio of 5-2. Beck came up short of his goal; however, Dante Moore’s move to return to Oregon for another season moves him up on boards for teams.
Beck provides the physical build needed at the position that Murray lacks.
