In the Miami Hurricanes' two losses this season, Carson Beck threw six interceptions.
He had another in the Fiesta Bowl against Ole Miss.
But when Miami needed a score to get to the national championship game, it was Beck, not with his arm, but with his legs, delivering.
He led a 15-play, 75-yard drive in 2:55 and capped it with a 3-yard touchdown run to lift Miami to a 31-27 win in the College Football Playoff semifinal. The Hurricanes will play a home game in the national title game, against either Indiana or Oregon, on Jan. 19 at Hard Rock Stadium.

Looking to Twitter/X for reaction to this thrilling national semifinal, of course the first folks we peek in on are Georgia fans.
As you may recall, Beck was the starting quarterback for the Bulldogs before transferring last year to Miami.

But as for Miami, especially a year after watching Heisman Trophy finalist Cam Ward play his way to the No. 1 pick in the NFL draft, this is certainly sweet for Hurricanes fans.
Carson Beck was worth EVERY PENNY Miami paid him.
