Carson Beck is back in the College Football Playoff national championship game for the third time in his playing career.

This time around, it’s under a different role — one that he’s been waiting for in his career — and with a different team in No. 10 Miami.

After serving as the backup to Stetson Bennett in two CFP title games at Georgia, the now-Hurricanes sixth-year quarterback makes his debut in the national championship on Monday, Jan. 19 at 7:30 p.m. ET against No. 1 Indiana at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.

Beck has led the Hurricanes to three consecutive upset wins this College Football Playoff run, which has included wins on the road at No. 7 Texas A&M in the first round, vs. defending national champion No. 2 Ohio State in the CFP Cotton Bowl quarterfinals and No. 6 Mississippi in the CFP Fiesta Bowl semifinal.

A win for Beck and Miami would give the Hurricanes their first national championship since winning the 2002 BCS Championship game over Nebraska. It’d also give the ACC its first CFP title since Clemson won the title for the 2018 season.

That all said, here’s a deeper look into Beck’s stats both for this season and his career:

Here’s a year-by-year breakdown of Beck’s stats at Miami and Georgia:
